About Capturing Your Moment Photography...well first and foremost(I sound like I won a CMA-lol) The whole reason that Capturing Your Moment exsists is because of the support of my husband, children and parents. Most people do not understand the hours and commitment that go into photography. The behind the scenes editing, journaling and uploading is a large time commitment and does take me away from my family. Not to mention my parents have my children during my weekend sessions! Thank you for being so wonderful and help carry the load these last few years while I got my business up and running. All glory goes to God for allowing me to use the talent he gave me, in His name, to bless families.
A little about me(since we are in the "about" section)...I am a mother of 3 beautiful girls and the wife of an amazing husband. His humor and light hearted spirit gets me through most long days. Not to mention the love we have for each other! I am the only child to my parents and their support financially and emotionally has been overwhelming to help me get this up and going. I have had a camera in my hand since I was a little girl...through high school and into my adulthood. Photography is more than my profession...it is truly has been my passion my whole life. I decided,a couple years ago, to turn my wonderful hobby into a business. There are so many decisions you have to make when you decide to start a business. Logos, colors..business cards, pricing..the list goes on and on. One decision I was worried about was the one question I got ALOT..."So what kind of photographer are you?" I always cringed at that question because I never really had an answer...Is that something that someone just decides or wouldnt it make more sense to let my work decide? After everything was up and moving in the right direction...I had some time to reflect on my work and what it had become. With every session, I continue to grow and learn and I am proud to say I have found out what kind of photographer I am. I am a natural light photographer...a photographer that loves to capture the moment you are in(hense the business name), using natural light..to click the shutter at just the right moment and give you that memory forever. I am a Natural Light Photographer..it just feels good typing it twice!
